This week, we received a call from a repeat customer in Hyndland, Glasgow. This customer was noticing smells coming from under her sink.
As always, JSL Drainage turned up promptly and without a call out fee so that we could inspect the issue. When the sink was run, no water entered the traps so we suspected disconnected pipes.
The customers kitchen was tiled so to reduce the chances of damage, we removed the drawer unit and cut access in the floor below This gave us visible sight of the disconnect issue.
From this point, we could begin fixing the issue. We removed the sink, reconnected the pipe, vacuumed up the greasy slurry under the floor, disinfected, refitted flooring and cupboards
Voila! It was like we were never there and neither was the smell.
