If you have ever noticed staining on a wall around a drain pipe, then you may have wondered what has caused it.
The simple answer is a blocked drain. And that is exactly what we were fixing the other day.
A customer was having issues with damp staining the sandstone walls of their grand south side home. Our inspection revealed that the drain was blocked because if roots in a manhole.
We removed the roots (which was more complicated than you would think) and then to ensure that there was no excess build up further down the drain pipe, we gave it a blast with the jetter.
And finally, to ensure that there was no future leaking, we repaired the drain connectors.
