Returning home to a god awful smell

We received a call from a customer last week who had just returned from holiday.  The taxi dropped them off from the airport, the got to their front door, opened it and were greeted with an unearthly smell.

We always say that a sign of an impending blocked drain is a bad smell from your kitchen sink (for example).

Well this customer had been ignoring the slow draining sink and all the gunk and food particles that had been poured down the kitchen sink had been sitting their for two weeks building up a fairly powerful pong.

When the customer called us about the bad smell from their drain, they booked in a time that was convenient to them and when we turned up at their West End Glasgow address, we quickly got to work clearing the partial blockage and making sure the drainage system was draining freely.

After a few hours of having the windows open (handily during the warmer summer months than freezing cold winter months), the smell went away and now the customer can get back into the swing of work knowing that their drainage system is running better than ever.

So if you notice a bad smell coming from your drain in Glasgow, call JSL Drainage today.
